At least six militants were killed in the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in Datta Khel today.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, a soldier of Pakistan army also embraced martyrdom in fight against militants in Datta Khel during clearance operation.
A civilian was also got killed in soldiers’ shootout with terrorists. The ISPR said clearance operation will continue in the village and end soon once all militants are flushed out.
More than 800 militants have been killed in the operation that began on June 15.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has approved Rs Rs 1.569 billion for the ongoing military operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’.
The sanctioned amount will be spent on internally displaced persons of the NWA and their rehabilitation.
