LAHORE, Punjab: The NCCIA summons Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq to its Lahore office on Friday, September 11, in a probe linked to alleged dressing-room leaks during Pakistan’s England Test series.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) issued call-up notices on Monday. Investigators are expected to ask Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq to unlock their mobile phones and examine information retrieved from the devices.
The third Pakistan cricketer had also received an NCCIA notice, but the player was not identified.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took custody of Rizwan and Imam’s phones before providing them to the relevant authorities. The PCB has not publicly confirmed that it seized the phones or accessed their data, and has not explained the reported transfer.

The PCB separately confirmed on September 7 that it had opened an internal disciplinary inquiry following media reports concerning “discipline and conduct” during the England tour. Adviser to the PCB chairman Amir Mir said the matter was being handled under board regulations and cautioned against treating unverified claims as established facts.
The board had released Rizwan, Imam and five other players from the Test squad on August 31 after the second Test at Lord’s. Head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul were also released, with replacements named for the final Test at Edgbaston.
Pakistan’s three-Test series against England runs from August 19 to September 13, with the final match being played at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
