The Met Office alert said several districts of Sindh and Balochistan could face extremely hot weather during the ongoing spell. Southern Punjab also remained under high temperatures as the dry conditions persisted.
Doctors advised citizens to avoid direct sun exposure during peak heat hours and drink more water to stay hydrated. Health experts urged extra caution for people working outdoors or travelling during the hottest part of the day.
Extreme heat had claimed 14 lives in Karachi. Eight heatwave deaths were reported in the city last Monday, according to the same report.
