Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Sunday said that Pakistan should play its role in resolving the Yemen issue.

Talking to newsmen here, he said that the country had friendly and brotherly relations with the Saudi Kingdom. “However, we will have to keep our integrity and solidarity above everything,” he added.

He urged the government to take the nation into confidence through Parliament on the issue.

Replying to a question, Khursheed Shah said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would welcome Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s members in the next NA session.

He asked PTI chief Imran Khan not to opt out of the political process and should become its part for the good of the country and
him party. – APP
