RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia injured at least 73 people on Tuesday, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said, as it vowed a firm response to the renewed escalation.
The Iran-backed Houthis targeted Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran in southern Saudi Arabia, according to the coalition.
Saudi Arabia says a wave of Houthi attacks on the country’s south have injured 73 people, including children.

Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki al-Malki described the attacks as an escalation and said Saudi-led forces would respond to the source of the threats.

Large-scale fighting had declined after a United Nations-brokered truce in 2022, but the latest attacks have raised concerns about another escalation between the Houthis and Saudi-led forces.
