Fazeela Abbasi’s interim bail was extended on Monday after a court granted relief in a case linked to an allegedly illegal clinic and directed her to join the investigation.
Special Judge Central Humayun Dilawar extended the interim pre-arrest bail of TikToker and dermatologist Fazeela Abbasi during the hearing. Abbasi appeared before the court with her counsel, Naeem Bukhari, and filed a pre-arrest bail application.
The court approved interim bail on a surety bond of Rs50,000 and ordered her to cooperate with investigators. It later adjourned the matter until May 5 for further proceedings.
The Federal Investigation Agency has registered two cases against Abbasi in connection with the alleged operation of an illegal clinic.
The latest court order gives her temporary relief while the investigation continues. At the same time, the judge advised her to formally join the inquiry and assist investigators.
Abbasi is also on bail in a separate money laundering case. That means the alleged illegal clinic proceedings are unfolding alongside another ongoing legal matter.

This overlap has kept her legal situation in focus, especially as both the trial court and higher court have already been involved in recent hearings. Before this extension, Abbasi’s pre-arrest bail plea had been dismissed by the special judge central over non-appearance.
In a written order, the judge said she remained absent despite the case being fixed for a hearing and rejected her request for exemption on medical grounds. The court described that request as a misuse of the pre-arrest bail concession.
Abbasi then approached the Islamabad High Court, which restored her interim bail in the money laundering case and directed her to seek further remedy before the trial court. With the latest extension in place, the alleged illegal clinic case will now return to court on May 5.
The trial court has provided temporary protection but made clear that cooperation with the investigation remains necessary. The next hearing is expected to determine how the case proceeds.
