Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad has said that Dr Tahirul Qadri’s assurance to remain peaceful during his ‘Inqilab March’ paved way for an understanding with the provincial government under which the PTA is given permission to hold its protest.
The Sindh governor thanked Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar for their efforts in this regard.
Earlier, the police had sealed the roads leading to Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.
After the assurance of peaceful march by Tahirul Qadri the hurdles in the path of the marchers were removed.
