National Security Policy Presented in National Assembly

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday announced National Security Policy in the National Assembly and presented for the Parliament’s approval.

While addressing to the National Assembly, Chaudhary Nisar Said, “This is a serious and sensitive matter, this is not PML-N’s own security policy, but this is for the nation’s security.

He briefed the National Assembly, that the policy has been prepared in five months. In its preparation, the government consulted with all stakeholders including political parties, army officials and experts but it was only the MQM which provided its input through a draft”
