Late social worker Sabeen Mahmud’s driver has been killed in Karachi area of Ibrahim Hyderi.
According to police sources, a man identified as Ghulam Abbas has been killed in Tuesday’s early morning hours. Ghulam Abbas, who lived in Korangi, was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Bhittai Colony, within the limits of Ibrahim Hyderi police station.

According to Ahmed Sher the SHO of the Ibrahim Hyderi police station, Sabeen’s driver, in addition to working part-time as a driver was an employee in the anti-corruption department of the Sindh police.
Body of the deceased has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal procedure.
According to police, the investigation of the incident has been started and the murder is being tied with Sabeen’s assassination.
