A Barcola Liverpool deal worth up to $163 million has reportedly been agreed in principle with Paris Saint-Germain, although the transfer has not yet been formally signed.
According to The Athletic, more than $116 million of the proposed package would be guaranteed, with final contractual details still being completed.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group executive Mike Gordon have been involved in the negotiations, which continued into Thursday morning, August 27.
France forward Bradley Barcola has two years remaining on his PSG contract and is described by as keen on a move to Liverpool.

Barcola’s arrival could affect Cody Gakpo’s position at Anfield, although no Liverpool decision on Gakpo is reported.
The proposed move would follow Liverpool’s reported $145.5 million signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United earlier in the summer window.
