Karachi weather today will remain hot and humid, with the Met Office ruling out any chance of rainfall in the city as rain, strong winds and hailstorms hit several parts of Pakistan.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said Karachi’s minimum temperature was 30°C, while humidity was 69%, making conditions feel warmer and more uncomfortable.
The city’s current temperature reached 34°C. The maximum temperature will likely stay between 36°C and 38°C during the day, according to the PMD forecast.
The weather department said southwesterly winds were blowing at 16 kilometres per hour. Wind gusts reached 33 kilometres per hour.
The Met Office said the hot spell will continue in Karachi, with no rainfall expected in the city today.
Weather-related incidents killed at least three people and injured seven others in different areas. One person died, and three others were injured after lightning struck a village near Kandhkot.
In Rojhan, strong winds blew away solar panels, killing two people and injuring another. In Sadiqabad, heavy rain and strong winds brought down trees, signboards, walls and electricity poles, leaving three people injured.

Rain, wind and hail brought relief from intense heat in Sukkur, Kandhkot, Jacobabad, Thul and Garhi Khairo. Shahdadkot, Mehar, Nasirabad and Dera Murad Jamali also received rain with strong winds.
Heavy rainfall was also reported in Mirpur, Mangla, Islamgarh, Abbottabad, Galiyat, Nathia Gali, Ayubia and Thandiani, where the weather improved after intense heat.
