Finance Minister Ishaq Dar telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain early morning today in which the political and economic situation of the country was discussed.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also invited the MQM to attend the National Security Conference on Saturday (tomorrow). He thanked Altaf Hussain on the arrival of MQM delegation in Prime Minister House yesterday.
Ishaq Dar, while lauding the role of Altaf Hussain and his party for promoting democracy and the supremacy of the constitution, said that the role of the party is worthy of appreciation. He added that the center wants to solve the political and national issues via dialogue.
Altaf Hussain thanked the finance minister for the invitation to the National Security Conference and said that the current situation should be solved through understanding instead of resorting to state power.
