Three Indian nationals sustained injuries in a drone attack on the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, May 4.
Authorities said Iranian-launched unmanned aerial vehicles targeted the strategic energy hub.
The Fujairah Media Office said the three injured men suffered moderate injuries and went to the hospital for treatment.
The media office said civil defence teams reached the site and worked to bring the fire under control.
The Fujairah Oil Industry Zone and its port facilities are located on the UAE’s eastern coast along the Gulf of Oman, about 70 nautical miles, or 130 kilometres, outside the Strait of Hormuz.
The location allows Fujairah to serve as a strategic bypass point for oil exports.
The UAE Defence Ministry said its military detected four cruise missiles fired from Iran toward the country after the drone attack.

The ministry said air defence systems intercepted three missiles, while one missile missed its target and fell into the sea.
Mobile phone alerts warned residents of Dubai and Abu Dhabi about possible missile threats.
The attack was the first such incident since a Pakistan-mediated ceasefire between the United States and Iran took effect on April 8.
