The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has confirmed that polls in general elections 2013 were rigged in at least 20 constituencies.
The ECP in its report on Friday stated that elections were rigged in seven national and thirteen provincial seats during the General Elections 2013.
The election commission has also ordered for re-polling in five constituencies.
The five candidate are from PMLN and PPP.
The report has come at a time, when PTI is staging a sit-in in Islamabad and holding countrywide mass rallies, in protest against rigging of elections.
PPP has also admitted irregularities in the last general elections, with its leadership terming the elections as RO’s elections.
