China floods hit parts of Jiangxi and Hunan after days of heavy rain, prompting emergency response work and a red alert in Jingdezhen City.
Authorities in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, issued the highest rain warning after more than 100 millimetres fell within three hours.
The downpour caused waterlogging in the urban areas of Jingdezhen and southern Fuliang County. The Fuliang County Meteorological Bureau said the county recorded heavy to torrential rain from 08:00 Monday to 08:00 Tuesday.
