Cambridge International Education confirmed a Cambridge paper leak in Pakistan involving the AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 and set June 8 as the date for the postponed A Level Mathematics Paper 32 exam.
The board said the replacement exam for Cambridge International A Level Mathematics Paper 32 (9709) will be held on Monday, June 8, as part of the June 2026 examination series. The AS & A Level results release date will remain August 11, 2026.
Cambridge said the AS & A Level Mathematics Paper 52, taken in administrative Zones 3 and 4, was also shared prematurely in violation of its regulations. It had earlier announced the postponement of Mathematics Paper 32 on May 13.
For Mathematics Paper 52, Cambridge will use its assessed marks process for all candidates in Zones 3 and 4. The same method will apply to AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 candidates in Pakistan.

Cambridge said the assessed marks method is widely researched and used by other UK examination boards when students miss exams for valid reasons such as illness or injury. The board said universities recognise and trust results awarded through the process.
The board said the leaked material had circulated widely in Pakistan but added that this does not prove the breach originated there. Cambridge said the source of the leak remains under investigation.
Cambridge said it is pursuing legal action and working with law enforcement agencies and social media platforms after “sustained and focused efforts” to steal exam papers during the June 2026 series. It warned of strict sanctions, including permanent disqualification, for anyone who shares or misuses confidential exam material.
