A Cambridge paper leak reportedly hit the A-Level Business Studies exam on Tuesday after the paper began circulating on social media overnight.
Cambridge International Education confirmed that the Business Studies paper was among the three A-Level papers reportedly shared online. The paper circulated widely on social media around 12:41 pm on Tuesday.
The reported leak followed Cambridge’s April 30 confirmation that AS Level Mathematics Paper 12 (9709) had appeared online prematurely.
Cambridge said someone circulated the mathematics paper, which students sat across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Pakistan and South Asia, in violation of exam regulations.
The examination body said it had launched a thorough investigation to determine the extent of the leak and decide its next course of action.
Cambridge said its priority remained ensuring that students did not face any disadvantage and that it was taking measures to protect exam integrity.
The body urged candidates to continue preparing for upcoming examinations while the investigation is underway.
Cambridge said senior professionals would review verified facts and decide further action to maintain reliable grades and reduce disruption for students.
The organisation said such incidents remained rare and warned that it would take strict action against any centres or individuals involved in malpractice. Cambridge said it would provide an update on the situation by May 7, 2026.
