LAHORE, Punjab: The BISE Lahore 9th result 2026 showed that 150,133 candidates, or about 53.5%, failed the annual SSC Part-I examination announced on Wednesday.
According to the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore result gazette, 287,597 candidates registered for the examination and 280,676 appeared. Of those, 130,543 passed. Therefore, the overall pass percentage is 46.51%.
The SSC Part-I First Annual Examination 2026 was held from April 17 to May 8.
BISE Lahore said students who secured at least 33% marks in individual subjects or papers received the marks they earned. The board recorded these marks against their names and roll numbers in the official gazette.
Candidates seeking rechecking can submit an online application through the BISE Lahore website within 15 days of the result announcement.

Students who obtained less than 33% marks in one or more subjects, or remained absent from the Part-I examination, may qualify for readmission in Part-I under board rules. Moreover, they may retain their existing subject combination or select another combination at the same or a different institution.
Students can also check their SSC Part-I result and subject-wise marks through the official Lahore Board result portal. They need to enter their examination roll number.
