Spokesman to Pakistani High Commission in Turkey Abdul Akbar has confirmed that Turkish Airlines will start special flights to bring all Pakistani back to Pakistan.
In an interview, he said arrangements have been made to send stranded Pakistanis from Istanbul airport via two flights to Islamabad and Karachi.
Meanwhile, Turk Airline has started special flight operation to take the Pakistanis stranded at Istanbul airport back to their country.
A Turk airline flight TK-708 carrying 140 passengers has arrived in Karachi. Most of the passengers on board the flight were travelling from the United States and Canada.
Another flight TK-118 has also left Istanbul for Karachi. Some other flights are also expected to bring the Pakistanis back home. (APP)
