Toyota’s GR GTs US allocation of 200 to 250 cars has already sold out, with customer deliveries expected to begin in 2027.
Toyota Senior Vice President of Automotive Operations Andrew Gilleland confirmed the sellout during Monterey Car Week at Laguna Seca.
Gilleland said Toyota deliberately limited supply because it wants GR GTs to reach drivers rather than buyers seeking quick resale profits.
The 200-to-250 figure applies only to the United States. Toyota has not disclosed total global production for the first manufacturing run.
Demand was already visible at The Quail. More than 150 prospective buyers met Toyota representatives to configure cars before formal orders opened.
