Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has announced a fully-fledged war on Pakistani media, the banned terror outfit declared in its letter to the Committee to Protect Journalists and other international organizations.
TTP has openly declared that of the Pakistani media does not stop its hateful and malicious propaganda campaign against the banned outfit then none can stop TTP men from attacking Journalists.
The message is headlined, “The Global war of ideologies and the behavior of media: To the heads and members of the organizations working for the rights of media members around the world” and promises reprisals for the media coverage of the military operation Zerb-E-Azb in North Waziristan.
The letter also admonishes the media by saying that “support groups like CPJ shouldn’t start complaining when the TTP starts attacking Pakistani journalists”.
The letter continues its threats by stating that, “We want to remind you that we always remember our enemies.”
