Islamabad, Pakistan: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah rejected PM change rumours after the passage of the federal budget 2026-27, calling the claims baseless.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader said misinformation was being spread to create instability and confusion.
Sanaullah said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was steering the country in the right direction and had improved Pakistan’s global image.
He said the prime minister’s work and commitment had drawn appreciation from people across different sections of society.
Responding to another question, Sanaullah said the federal government had always remained open to dialogue with the opposition. He said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders had faced cases while in opposition, but still supported the democratic process.
