Former NBA forward Andrés Nocioni questioned LeBron’s killer mentality, saying Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant possessed a more intimidating competitive edge.
Nocioni made the comments during a July 31 interview with Leo Montero on TN’s “Random,” where he discussed his NBA career and encounters with leading players.
The former Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers forward described Bryant as intensely competitive. He said the five-time NBA champion came closest to matching Jordan’s mentality.
Nocioni also praised James’ wider career. He ranked the four-time champion among the top two or three players in NBA history.
However, Nocioni said he remained unsure whether James possessed the same mental approach as Jordan and Bryant, according to a report published Aug. 2.

During the TN interview, Nocioni also recalled Bryant greeting him in Spanish at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He said the pair developed mutual respect despite their confrontations on the court.
Nocioni retired from professional basketball in 2017 after playing for Real Madrid.
