Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has said that only Parliament has the right to make decisions for the country.
Syed Khursheed Shah, addressing the joint session of the Parliament on Friday, said that it was the politicians who brought revolution in its true sense. He added that it was former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who brought revolution in the country.
“Politicians are not to be blamed for the ongoing crisis in the country”, he added.
He added that entire Pakistan remained peaceful except for the Constitutional Avenue. No one can brainwash the nation by raising the voice of revolution and freedom.
“No one can make the Prime Minister resign via sit-ins and protests”, he added. Shah said that unfortunately no one blames those who broke the Constitution.
The opposition leader said civil disobedience campaign of the PTI failed badly as people did not accept it. Criticizing Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri, Shah said they tell the youth that politicians are the reason of nation’s misfortunes.
