ISLAMABAD: Pakistan flash floods killed at least 14 people and injured dozens after heavy rain battered several parts of the country.
The deadliest incident occurred in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where six tourists died after a boat overturned in Saifullah Lake.
Officials said rescue teams recovered the bodies and continued searching for a missing woman.
In Attock, Punjab, three people died after walls and roofs collapsed during the downpour. Five others suffered injuries in separate rain-related incidents.
In Landi Kotal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lightning killed two children and injured four others. In Upper Dir, lightning injured 20 female students at a madrassa.
In Zhob, Balochistan, a woman and a child died after a roof collapsed. Another person died after lightning struck Ganjial Qaidabad.

Rain-related injuries were also reported in Abbottabad and Mardan. Officials said a vehicle was swept away by a rain-fed stream in Abbottabad, while a wall and a signboard collapsed in Mardan.
The National Disaster Management Authority issued a fresh NDMA weather alert for further flooding risks.
It warned of possible glacial lake outburst floods in Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir, along with sudden surges in hill torrents and seasonal streams.
