Islamabad: Pakistan’s military said it downed four Afghan Taliban drones near the Balochistan border on June 30.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said Pakistan’s air defence network detected the drones and destroyed them with countermeasures.
The military’s media wing described the drones as “rudimentary.” It accused the Afghan Taliban regime of backing terrorist groups operating from Afghan territory.
Pakistani forces shot down four drones launched from Afghanistan into Balochistan.
The ISPR said the drones were stopped before they caused damage. The statement warned that any further cross-border attack would face a “swift, decisive, and overwhelming” response under Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq.
