At least 11 clerics including Lal Masjid cleric Mullah Abdul Aziz have been booked for misusing loudspeakers.
According to the police, the clerics have been booked in Aabpara and I-9 police stations under the Loudspeaker Act.
Abdul Aziz has already been booked for criminal intimidation charge and also has an arrest warrant pending police proceedings against him for a host of charges. The cleric had warred against the state in 2007 using the “Laal” mosque as ‘ground zero’ for his anti state activities.
