SAN FRANCISCO, United States: ChatGPT Writing Style can now learn from users’ connected apps to make documents, emails and messages sound more like their own writing.
OpenAI said users can customise drafting style by allowing ChatGPT to reference examples from apps they already use. The feature appears under Settings, Personalisation and Writing.
Users can enable a setting called “Reference my writing style” and then choose which services to connect for documents: Google Drive, Notion and SharePoint.
Gmail and Outlook are available for email, while Slack and Microsoft Teams can provide messaging examples.
Thibault “Tibo” Sottiaux, OpenAI’s head of Codex, confirmed the feature in a reply.

To many paid users, including Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Healthcare and Edu customers with ChatGPT Work access. It currently supports web and mobile, while desktop support is expected later.
The Writing Style option remains off by default. Users must actively enable it and connect the apps they want ChatGPT to reference.
