The death of a man who was killed in an alleged encounter with police in Khairpur’s Faiz Ganj area has been challenged by his family.
police had claimed to kill an alleged dacoit Abdul Sattar and injuring two others in an encounter. Abdul Sattar was resident of Multan district of Punjab.
However, the family of the deceased has contested the police version of the event and claimed that the police has staged a fake encounter to rob Rs. 2.5 million value bonds and cash from the possession of Abdul Sattar who was doing business in Dubai and going to Multan from Karachi to celeberate eid with his friends.
The family members have appealed to the Supreme Court to take suo moto notice of the incident.
