RAWALPINDI: ISPR Operation Sindoor documentary claims were rejected by Pakistan’s military on Monday, which accused India of presenting a distorted account of the May 2025 conflict.
The Inter-Services Public Relations called the production “highly dramatised” and factually inaccurate. It said cinematic reconstruction and selective interviews had altered the operational record.
ISPR also challenged the documentary’s timeline linking the May 7 operation to the Pahalgam attack. It noted that India later claimed the alleged perpetrators were killed on July 28, 2025.
Pakistan’s military separately rejected India’s claim of “100% mission success.” ISPR said Pakistani forces shot down eight military aircraft during Marka-e-Haq.

ISPR said Pakistan later launched Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos on May 10. It claimed Pakistani forces struck 26 military targets with rockets, missiles, aircraft munitions and artillery.
The military’s media wing also cited the documentary’s account of contacts between both countries’ Director Generals of Military Operations. ISPR said that account contradicted claims of a unilateral Indian victory.
