Creative Arts Emmys 2026: Widow’s Bay Leads With 8 Wins

LOS ANGELES: The Creative Arts Emmys 2026 concluded Sunday with Apple TV’s “Widow’s Bay” leading scripted programmes with eight wins, while HBO Max’s “DTF St. Louis” collected six.

The two ceremonies at the Peacock Theatre on September 5 and 6 presented the first 102 awards of the 78th Emmy Awards. They will be edited into a single FXX broadcast on September 12.

“Widow’s Bay” won in the acting and craft categories, including Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Betty Gilpin, as well as casting, cinematography, production design, music and sound. “DTF St. Louis” earned acting wins for David Harbour and Linda Cardellini, while creator Steven Conrad won for writing and directing.

The cancelled MGM+/Prime Video series “Spider-Noir” won five Emmys, including technical awards for visual effects, title design, cinematography, stunt coordination and sound editing. HBO Max drama “The Pitt” and Apple TV’s “Pluribus” each finished the weekend with four wins.

On Saturday, “Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny” won seven awards, including Outstanding Variety Special (Live). “The Traitors” earned six, while “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” collected five.

Other Sunday winners included Shailene Woodley for guest actress in “Paradise,” Ernest Harden Jr. for guest actor in “The Pitt,” and Rob Reiner, who received a posthumous guest-actor Emmy for “The Bear.”

The remaining 78th Emmy Awards will air live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, September 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, hosted by actor, director and producer Mariska Hargitay.
