Pakistan captain Babar Azam has developed a fever, but team manager Naveed Akram Cheema said the batter remains fit and there is no cause for concern.
Cheema confirmed Babar’s condition after the Pakistan captain informed him about the fever. He said Babar was expected to recover soon.
The health update comes with Pakistan trailing England 2-0 in the three-match Test series following two heavy defeats.
England won the opening Test by an innings and 103 runs before securing the second match by 194 runs.
Pakistan failed to reach 200 in any of their four innings across the two Tests. Babar also struggled with the bat in the second Test, scoring 8 and 6 in his two innings.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made major changes following the latest defeat, including releasing the head coach and seven players from the squad and sending them back to Pakistan.
Pakistan still have one Test remaining in the series as they seek to avoid a 3-0 defeat.
