Pakistani actor and host Imran Ashraf rejected an Imran Ashraf death hoax after an AI-generated clip spread across social media.
Ashraf reassured fans through Instagram that he was safe. “Alhamdulillah, I am absolutely fine; it’s fake news,” he wrote. He also asked followers for prayers.
A TikTok account shared the fabricated video. The clip imitated a television news bulletin and falsely claimed Ashraf had died from cardiac arrest.
Celebrities have real families, real hearts, and real lives. Traumatizing a family with a fake death hoax for internet clout is unforgivable.
