The Pakistan cricket team met King Charles at Clarence House in Britain, where the monarch held conversations with players, team officials and Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
King Charles discussed cricket with Naqvi, as well as Pakistan’s efforts on law and order and counter-terrorism.
The British High Commissioner also told the monarch that Naqvi and Pakistan had contributed to regional peace.
Naqvi, who also serves as Pakistan’s interior minister, later described the meeting as fruitful in comments to a private television channel.
He said the discussions included initiatives to promote peace and added that King Charles encouraged members of the Pakistan team during the meeting.

Earlier, PCB Chairman Naqvi departed the United Kingdom for Pakistan following the Clarence House engagement.
