Karachi, Sindh: The Anmol Pinky investigation has come under court scrutiny after case records pointed to alleged inconsistencies in police reports on narcotics and an unlicensed weapon case.
Anmol alias Pinky was arrested earlier this month from an apartment in the Garden area during a joint raid by police and a civilian intelligence agency, according to court submissions.
The court record showed that police listed her arrest on May 12 from Apartment No. 306 in a Garden-area flat. However, the same report said two alleged accomplices, Zeeshan and Sohail, were arrested on May 16 from the same location.

The submissions also raised questions over the way seized narcotics were recorded across multiple arrests. The report suggested similar recovery details appeared in cases involving different accused persons.
Observers in court noted that alleged contraband first attributed to the main suspect appeared to surface again in later reports involving other accused individuals.
The police report has now become part of the official court record. Proceedings in the narcotics and unlicensed weapon cases are continuing.
