Justin Bieber’s World Cup plans were confirmed after the singer joined Madonna, Shakira and BTS as a co-headliner for the FIFA World Cup Final halftime show.
The 11-minute performance will take place on July 19 at New York-New Jersey Stadium, according to the announcement.
The lineup also includes Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus, a Staten Island elementary school choir.
Coldplay will also appear with the PS22 Chorus. Chris Martin, the band’s lead singer, is curating the halftime show.
The performance will mark Bieber’s first public outing since his headline set at Coachella in April.
Bieber said the FIFA World Cup “brings the world together” and said he was grateful that the show would help expand access to education for children.
