Actor Alia Bhatt’s “Alpha” teaser has been released, showing Bobby Deol’s character training her for a secret mission in Yash Raj Films’ spy franchise.
Yash Raj Films lists “Alpha” as an action thriller starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra.
The teaser opens with a father-daughter-style moment between Bobby Deol’s character and Alia Bhatt’s character, Sita, according to Men’sXP. It then shifts as he gives her a mission and begins shaping her into an operative.
The teaser shows Bhatt’s character entering action sequences after years of training. The video positions her as part of a secret programme linked to the spy universe.
“Alpha” marks the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe, according to Yash Raj Films. The franchise has previously included male-led spy films from the production house.
