Lionel Messi appeared with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in a new World Cup-themed teaser for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” released by Sony Pictures during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The short promo shows Peter Parker noticing Messi at a café before putting on the Spider-Man suit. Messi then joins Spider-Man in a brief web-swinging scene through city skyscrapers.
The teaser forms part of Sony Pictures’ global promotional campaign for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”
