More rains and snowfall in north western upper parts further stayed outgoing cold wave in the country.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said rainfall occurred at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The PMD said snowfall was recorded in upper parts of KPK, including Abbottabad and Upper Dir.
It said a western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country and expected to prevail during current week, causing rain-thunderstorm (with snowfall over the hills) in Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
