A video statement has been released featuring Rohullah, a foreign suicide bomber who was arrested by security forces after he entered Pakistan from Afghanistan.
In the video, Rohullah disclosed that he had been studying at the Tartil-ul-Quran seminary in Tor Taim village, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, for the past year. During his time at the seminary, he underwent a 10-day training program to become a suicide bomber, led by trainers Moulvi Sibghatullah, Zaker, and Farooq.
Rohullah explained that before leaving the seminary, he received injections in his arms, which made him unaware of his surroundings. After training, he and three others were transported in a green vehicle toward Batch village in Nari district.
He recounted a night in the Batch area before approaching the Afghan border. There, a contact named Javad took over, facilitating their crossing into Pakistan and subsequently handing them to a man named Sajjad.
Once in Pakistan, Sajjad separated Rohullah from the other two bombers, Abid and Sajid, and took him to a mosque to spend the night. The next day, Sajjad directed Rohullah to meet him and another associate, Suleiman, at a bridge. They travelled for an hour to reach a tunnel where Rohullah and Suleiman separated.
Rohullah continued by saying that he was instructed to board a truck after leaving the tunnel. It was in this truck that security forces apprehended him. Suleiman had informed him that beyond the tunnel, he would meet Jameel, a truck driver who was supposed to supply him with a suicide vest and instructions for an attack in a cantonment area.
