David Hale has been appointed as next US Ambassador to Pakistan.
According to details, Mr Hale, who was nominated by President Obama for next ambassador to Islamabad. The US Senate has confirmed David Hale as next Ambassador to Pakistan.
David Hill will replace Richard G. Olson who was appointed as ambassador to Pakistan in 2012 after Cameron Munter resigned from the office as a result of tense relations between Washington and Islamabad following US raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
Hale has also served as director of the office of Israel and Palestinian Affairs, executive assistant to the secretary of state and in other positions overseas in Bahrain, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia.
