Unitree Robotics IPO shares surged more than 460% on August 19 as the Chinese humanoid robot maker made its Shanghai stock market debut.
The company offered shares at 150.80 yuan each. It closed its first trading day at 845 yuan.
Unitree, formerly Yushu Technology Co Ltd, listed on Shanghai’s technology-focused STAR Market. The company is based in Hangzhou, China. The listing also marked the first mainland Chinese stock market debut by a humanoid robot maker.
Unitree shipped more than 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025. It also recorded a net profit of 278 million yuan that year.
Meanwhile, the company sells robots ranging from automated arms to four-legged and humanoid machines. Its child-sized G1 humanoid model carries a starting price of about USD 13,500.
