Philadelphia will host UFC 330 on August 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena, marking the promotion’s return to the city for a numbered event with a championship bout. Governor Josh Shapiro and UFC President and CEO Dana White announced the event during “The Pat McAfee Show.”
The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 15 and adds to a busy year of major sporting and cultural events across Pennsylvania. State officials say the Commonwealth is using 2026’s packed calendar to attract visitors and encourage repeat travel.
This will be the first time since 2011 that UFC has brought a numbered card to the Philadelphia venue, now called Xfinity Mobile Arena. The last such event in the city was UFC 133 on August 6, 2011, which featured Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz as headliners. Philadelphia most recently hosted a UFC Fight Night on March 30, 2019. That card featured Justin Gaethje knocking out Edson Barboza in a bout that earned Fight of the Night honours.
Governor Shapiro said Pennsylvania is excited to host UFC 330 as part of a wider lineup of major events tied to the America 250 celebration. He said the state is preparing to welcome fans while also creating opportunities for local businesses and communities.
The governor also pointed to other high-profile events on Pennsylvania’s 2026 calendar, including the NFL Draft in Pittsburgh and the PGA Championship in Newtown Square. Dana White said the timing is right for the UFC to return to Philadelphia, 15 years after its last numbered event. He described the city as a strong fight market and said he is eager to bring the promotion back.
Daniel J. Hilferty, Chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor, also welcomed the announcement. He said Philadelphia’s fighting spirit and championship identity make it a natural stage for UFC 330.
According to the announcement, UFC’s return to Philadelphia is part of TKO’s broader strategy, along with its public and private partners, to bring major live events to more cities. The goal is to expand fan reach while generating economic and cultural value for host communities.
More bout details are expected to be announced later. UFC said fans can follow future updates through its official channels, while noting that all bouts remain subject to change.
