Four people including a woman drowned after a fast speeding wagon fell into a ditch at Qazi Ahmad Bypass near Nawabshah today.
The speeding wagon plunged into the ditch when the drive tried to make a turn. There was water in the ravine which resulted in the death of four people.
It is said that the deceased persons belong to same family residing at military road in Sukkur. One of the deceased was identified as Ikhtiar Ali.
Police sources said that the bodies were recovered from the watery ditch with the help of Edhi workers and were sent to tehsil Qazi Ahmad Hospital.
