A tragic road accident took 12 lives and injured 6 when a passenger van plunged into a ravine earlier today, near Abbaspur.
The immediate cause of the road crash could not be ascertained; however rescue sources said over speeding likely caused this mishap.
Six people were also injured in the accident. Some passengers are in a critical condition. The bus was heading from Kahuta to Rawalpindi.
