LOS ANGELES: Reality television star and beauty entrepreneur Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut on October 18, wearing a $50 million Fantasy Bra.
Created with jeweller Jacob & Co., the piece returned the Fantasy Bra to the brand’s catwalk for the first time since 2018. Its centrepiece is a 75.54-carat yellow diamond.
Fifteen craftspeople spent more than 1,000 hours constructing the design. Thousands of natural diamonds form the surrounding structure, combining jewellery-making techniques with a garment meant to move on the runway.
Jenner wore it with white feathered wings, a gauzy mini skirt and clear heels.
Victoria’s Secret chief creative officer Adam Selman told Vogue that fan demand helped bring the Fantasy Bra back. He described the project as a deliberately elaborate combination of jewellery and artistry.
“It’s almost museum quality,” he said.
Selman attributed Jenner’s selection to her influence across fashion, television and popular culture. The brand wanted an unexpected participant with a substantial following to present the returning design.

Meanwhile, Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo approached the commission as a piece of wearable high jewellery. Its construction used gold and diamonds rather than fabric.
The piece required careful engineering and gem-setting. Craftspeople assembled about 3,218 individually designed components, setting the diamonds in 18-karat white and yellow gold.
