Sindh Police complaint channels have been highlighted in a new public service mechanism that allows citizens to report delays in filing FIRs, incorrect FIRs, bribery demands, negligence, and misconduct by police officials. A police spokesperson said affected citizens can approach senior authorities directly through the Inspector General of Police Complaint Cell.
Citizens in Sindh can file complaints with the IGP Complaint Cell by calling 1715, sending WhatsApp details to 0314-108831, or using the online IGP Complaint Management System. The system covers FIR refusal, incorrect FIRs, bribery demands, inappropriate behaviour, negligence, and police station lack of cooperation.
The new mechanism is aimed at citizens whose cases are not handled properly at the police station level. If a car, motorcycle, or valuable item is stolen and the relevant police station refuses to register a First Information Report, the complainant can approach senior police authorities.
The same route applies if an FIR is recorded incorrectly. That matters because an incomplete or inaccurate FIR can affect the quality of the investigation, the recovery of stolen property, insurance claims, and later legal proceedings.

The IGP Complaint Management System website also lists options for registering and tracking complaints, allowing citizens to follow progress after submitting their grievance. The official FAQ page includes guidance on filing complaints, tracking status, confidentiality, evidence, and what happens after a complaint is submitted.
What if Sindh Police Refuse To Register An FIR?
Citizens should include clear facts when filing a complaint. Useful details include the complainant’s name, CNIC number, contact number, police station name, incident date, officer’s name if known, FIR number if available, and copies of any written applications, receipts, photos, videos, or messages.
Complaints can be filed through three main routes: helpline 1715, WhatsApp 0314-108831, and the online portal. Recent local reports also list aigcomplaints.cpo@sindhpolice.gov.pk as another complaint channel for the IGP Complaint Cell.
A written complaint should stay factual. Citizens should explain what happened, what help they requested from the police station, how the station responded, and what action they want senior authorities to take.
