Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday held an important consultative meeting with his close aides to discuss ongoing dialogue process with the PTI and PAT.
Members of the government-backed negotiating teams and key ministers, namely Ishaq Dar, Zahid Hamid, Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Saad Rafique and Abdul Qadir Baloch, attended the meeting.
PM Sharif was briefed about the progress so far made in discussions with leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek – who are staging sit-ins in capital’s red zone seeking resignation from the prime minister over alleged rigging in last year’s general elections.
