Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said earlier today that inaction by the world community and the United Nations over Indian atrocities in the held Jammu and Kashmir was a source of concern for Islamabad.
Addressing a meeting of the Azad Jammu & Kashmir Council, he urged the international community to increase diplomatic pressure on India to resume dialogue process and resolve the Kashmir issue.
He said that Pakistan has been raising this issue in all international forums, including the United Nations.
PM Sharif eulogized the Pakistan Army for his effective response to unprovoked Indian shelling from across the line of control.
He said that his government will continue to provide diplomatic and morale support to the people of Kashmir, adding the while nation is united to support the just struggle of Kashmiris people.
PM Sharif again reiterated that Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with UN resolutions.
