Nearly 1.5 million fans joined the Miley Cyrus presale queue on September 9 for her two Hollywood Bowl concerts in Los Angeles, setting a record for ticket demand.
The 33-year-old singer will perform at the Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18. The shows will mark her first major performances since the Corona Capital music festival in Mexico City in November 2022.
The concerts will follow the September 18 release of Cyrus’ 10th studio album, “Bass Persuades,” through Atlantic Records.
Cyrus announced the project on Instagram on September 1 and explained that its title reflected music’s emotional and physical impact.
The title track, released September 3, became the most-added song at U.S. radio that week. It also debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s U.S. Top Songs chart for September 4-6 and reached No. 2 globally during the same period.

Cyrus is releasing the album under the single name “Miley.” Her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, publicly backed the change and compared the approach with performers including Dolly Parton, Cher, Elvis Presley and Prince.
